Hello weekend. Can’t believe it’s nearly the end of August! We are in a week off now to catch up with the things before the chaos of September arrives. Mainly planning to do more studio building and work for coming craft fair. I’ll post the progress of studio building here hopefully. For now, here is a quick view of work in progress. Vases of my HANETSUBO (winged pot) series, waiting to go in to a kiln. Will be firing and do some glaze test next week. xm
They look good already, looking forward to seeing them finished. I'm kind of glad it's nearly the end of August, this summer's been too busy at work and making me too tired to do enough art, closer we get to winter more time I'll have to create so I can't wait for summer to be over and autumn to begin :)
ReplyDeleteyour pots look lovely! and I love how you photographed them with the soft flower...one of my dreams is to take a ceramics class and work on the wheel...it seems it would be so fun!
ReplyDeleteYeh, I am looking forward Autumn to begin too, Veronika. Not just I love the season, but the more you can have time to do art, the more we can enjoy viewing your work :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lori. Just been to your site and enjoyed the coast scene. Pretty grim over here at the moment, your pictures brought me a fresh air much needed.. xm
These HANETSUBO are already so beautiful~ really really love them. Wish you have a craft fair around me!
